Phil keeps a limited
range of traditional historical pieces for selling at
historical fairs, often in conjunction with a live
demonstration of his techniques. In some instances
these are readily available for sale and feature in
the ‘place an order’ page. However, larger orders or
adjustments to the standard designs to meet specific
requirements will require an appropriate period for
manufacture and this can be clarified on request via
our ‘contact us’ facility.
For the more modern leather goods Phil
generally uses upholstery hide which is widely
available in a range of traditional and contemporary
colours to meet personal choice of decor
requirements.
Items such as leather office or desk accesories will
often incorporate specific designs and the
incorporation of writing or logos. Similarly,
leather dining goods such as leather place mates,
leather wine list covers, leather menu covers etc
will require the details of the person or company
concerned, or perhaps the name of the private yacht
with an outline image in gold blocking. Whatever
your choice your family, colleagues or customers
will be impressed.
Do not forget the opportunity for a leather casket
which can be an item of beauty in itself, as well as
providing the ideal display opportunity for your
jewellery or collectables.
Phil offers a hard stitched leather repair service
for your treasured leather items e.g. binocular
cases, leather gun cases and leather document cases.
Phil is available for leather work demonstrations
and exhibitions and regularly attends museums,
stately homes and historical events.
Please make use of our contact
facility. Phil will be pleased to give advice on
suitable designs and the manufacturing period he
will require, to provide those personal handmade
items which can only be produced after careful
preparation, they will not have any equal in the
machine made or mass production leather industry.
