As all our items are individually hand-made please note that measurements/capacities etc are approximate.

The dates indicated for the developments and usage of the leather goods are given as a guide. Our research is only as good as the information available.

Leather goods are ideal for beer, wine, ciders, soft drinks etc. They are not suitable for spirit drinks e.g whisky, brandy etc which will dissolve the bitumen linings.

We are able to provide delivery to all European including insurance cover if required. Please contact us for a delivery quotation for any over seas orders.

All our items are individually crafted and hand-made which means we may be able to personalise your requirements for different sizes and the incorporation of personalising details e.g. logos, initials, dates, names etc. Please contact us to enable us to advise you with a quote and delivery period.

Leather Tankard
Originally used in the 13th Century and in wide usage until the 18th Century Sizes are: Small - 13cm tall, Medium - 15cm tall, Large - 19cm tall.

Leather Cup
The leather cups are ideal for holding any drink (bar spirits as noted above). The cup measures 11cm tall. (coaster not included)

Traditional Leather Bottle
Also known as a Leather Costrell this is one of the more common designs and often seen on the signs of public houses or in historic illustrations. Sizes are: Miniature - 8cm x 7cm, Small - 14cm x 14cm, Large - 20cm x 20cm.

Leather Hip Bottle
This items is similiar to a traditional bottle but is flatter on the back to facilitate personal carrying. Our leather hip bottle is based on an item recovered from a 17th Century battle site. We can add a 'date' or 'initials' to this item. Please contact us prior to ordering if you require these additions. The bottle measures 14cm x 16cm.

Leather Book Style Bottle
As the name implies this bottle is in the shape of a book and they were in wide us from the 14th Century to the 17th Century. They sometimes featured the name or title of the person for whom they were made. This item can also be made incorporating your own names, or titles. Leather Pumpkin Seed Flask
Based on a bottle found on Henry VIII ship 'Mary Rose' when she was discovered on the sea bed. The flask measures 20cm x 24cm tall.

Leather Bombard
Another name for a leather jug and they were in wide use in ale houses and farms from the 12th - 18th Century. Sizes are: Small - 30cm tall, Large - 45cm tall.

This particular design is based on an item used in the Great Fire of London. Other designs used from the 12th - 18th Century are available (with or without personal features) and would grace any fireplace in a home or traditional public house. The bucket measures 26cm x 28cm tall.
